DIY Eco-friendly shampoo

We have a house of sensitive skin over here, as well as a history of Asthma with the little one.  I say history because since I have changed things over to a mainly fragrance free zone and by using just natural cleaners Sydney’s Asthma seems to have dissipated.  Just another reason to consider using natural or more natural based products in your home, and your life it’s great for the earth and for your health.

We made all natural shampoo yesterday and it worked beautifully~

What you need~

All natural Shampoo
Put 1 cup water in a spray bottle.
Add: 3/4 cup any liquid castile soap (I used pure glycerine, as it was unscented)
Add: 2 tsp any carrier oil (almond, jojoba, olive)
Add: 10 drops of any essential oil you want: (I like peppermint and tea tree oil, but try whatever you want)

Mix and enjoy! This is CONCENTRATED so one or two sprays is plenty for short baby hair. For Sydney’s, I use 4-5 sprays. This is NOT a “no-tears” recipe so watch little eyes.
